My philosophy on fitness, weight loss, and overall body image satisfaction is grounded in building muscle through weekly strength training and whole food nutrition with a little wine and chocolate on the side. Let's face it, balance is the key to long term success and happiness.
My passion for lifting weights began after I joined the Army and realized that weakness and my obsession with being skinny was simply unhealthy. I decided to start spending more time in the weight room and less time on the treadmill.
I may have made some mistakes along the way but all those moments of trial and error prepared me to help my clients today.
I would rather keep things SUPER REAL and share some tidbits about my world with you.
First, I am a shining example of imperfect. I share the ups downs of my life with my lady lifting community. So, if you are looking for perfection I am not your gal..because I am human and love Oreo's and peanut butter way too much to ever cut them out of my life!
On a different note, I am a mom of two little boys, wife, military veteran and sometimes a little crazy (but the good happy kind so do not worry). I would describe life as beautifully chaotic and would not have it another way....
Other than family and fitness, my true passion in life is waking up every morning eager to connect with women from all over the world. My goal is to help women find their inner strength, confidence and empower them to take control of their life through weight training and balanced nutrition.
Now, to be honest with, you I am not the woo woo kind of gal, but I truly believe that there is a deep emotional connection between strength training and a strong healthy mindset.
